Enel Green Power gets approval for $95.3 mn solar plant project

Peru’s Ministry of Energy and Mines gave the final approval for Enel Green Power Perú to develop the Clemesí solar power project. This solar power plant requiring an investment of $95.3 million is expected to have a capacity of 116.45 megawatts and therefore become one of the biggest solar plants in the country. The government emphasised the importance of renewable energy investments to support the economy and produce electricity in an eco-friendly way.
