Government to improve Ica’s electric supply with $18.3 mn investment

The Ministry of Energy and Mines announced that Ica region’s electric supply would be improved with two new transformer substations, requiring an $18.3 million investment. The concessions for these two projects were awarded to the company Interconexión Eléctrica as part of a public tender. A better electric system will boost the local economy and benefit around 60,000 Peruvians.
