Private investment increased by 9.4% in the last quarter of 2020

The Central Reserve Bank of Peru announced that private investments increased by 9.4% in the last quarter of 2020, after three consecutive quarters of decreasing trend. This result comes with the dynamism of self-construction and the recovery of investors’ expectations regarding local and global activity. Major investments in non mining sectors were largely responsible for this increase, with a 18.7% growth.
