Government creates small businesses support fund of $550 mn

The Peruvian Government announced the creation of the Support Programme for Micro and Small Businesses with a dedicated fund of 2 billion soles ($550 million). Businesses most affected by the pandemic, such as restaurants, hairdressers, hotels, will be able to borrow up to 60,000 soles ($16,500) with a 90% to 98% state guarantee.
