Gold, copper and zinc production drops respectively by 32%, 12.5% and 5.3% in 2020

Peru’s mining industry, responsible for 60% of the country’s exports, suffered from the health restrictions caused by the pandemic. The Ministry of Energy and Mines announced outputs in gold, copper and zinc had fallen by respectively 32%, 12.5% and 5.3% during 2020.
